A refundable security deposit of £100 will also be requested. This will be refunded within 7 days of your return from your holiday. Any breakages will be deducted from this deposit before it is returned. All rates quoted are for accommodation only, for the entire accommodation and not per person. Please remember that only scheduled flights are available to Corfu from November to April. CONDITIONS OF HIRE Reservation of accommodation “Spiti Mas” is accepted by The Owner on the following terms and conditions Contract of hire. Your contract with the Owner is subject to English Law and is not effective until the Owner despatches to the Renter the “Booking Form” which is then completed and signed as accepted by both Renter and Hirer Payment. Payment will be confirmed on receipt by the Owner of the appropriate deposit and booking form, which must be signed and returned. Confirmation is then agreed,, showing the cost of the accommodation less the initial deposit received. The balance due is payable to the Owner not less than EIGHT weeks before the first day of let. Cancellation. The Owner recommends that the Hirer take out his/her own insurance against cancellation. If notice of cancellation is given, then the rental deposit will normally be forfeited. If notice of cancellation is given to the Owner not less than EIGHT weeks before the first day of let, the Hirer will not be held liable to pay the balance of the accommodation rental. In all other respects the Owner will hold the Renter responsible only to the extent that the Owner incurs financial liability. Cancellation must be notified to the Owner in writing using recorded delivery. Insurance. The Hirer is responsible for the property and the contents during the rental period. The Owner strongly recommends the Hirer to take out the appropriate insurance cover, which should provide a high degree of personal/public liability protection. Electricity and Gas “Charges”. All “charges” for general domestic consumption is included in the rental. Out of season the Owner may make extra charges for space heating, this will be clearly notified to you at the time of booking. Smoking. In the interest of non-smoking renters, Spiti Mou is a non-smoking house. However, smoking is permitted on the patio outside the house, on the balcony and in the garden. Please dispose of cigarette remains responsibly. Amenities. The use of the accommodation and garden is entirely at the Hirer’s risk and no responsibility can be accepted by the Owner for injury or for loss or damage to the Hirer’s or their Visitor’s belongings and goods, which are at the Hirer’s risk at all times. Cleaning. The Hirer is responsible for cleaning and leaving the property tidy. Party Size. In no circumstances must the “Party Size” exceed 8 PERSONS as stated on the booking form, except with the prior agreement of the Owner who reserves the right to refuse admittance to the property, if this condition is not observed. Security Deposit. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to notify the Owner of any damage or breakages that occur during the letting period. A security deposit of £100 will be requested at the same time as the balance of the booking fee. Items damaged or broken must be repaired or replaced with a similar type by the Hirer. Failure to do so will result in the deduction of the repair/replacement costs from the security deposit before return. The security deposit will be returned to the Hirer within seven days of the end of the letting period unless arranged otherwise. Property Particulars. While every effort has been made to ensure that the representations contained in any presentation of this property by the Owner have been made in good faith, neither they nor any oral representations made on behalf of the Owner will create any liability for the Owner. Number of Nights. Spiti Mas may not always be available on arrival before or at midday. Some holiday flights are night flights and arrive in Corfu in the early hours of the morning. In these cases Spiti Mas will be immediately available on arrival as it has been reserved for the whole night, and this will count as one of your holiday nights. Day flights depart early in the morning and arrive in Corfu before midday. This does not count as one of your holiday nights and there may be a wait before Spiti Mas is available. On the last day of your holiday you will have to vacate Spiti Mas by 12 noon. |
